Lou Ann Wilroy, BA, Internship Student, is passionate about supporting clients in their healing journeys with a collaborative and caring approach. Lou Ann helps adolescents and adults with a wide variety of concerns tap into their inner wisdom and connect with themselves to make lasting changes in their lives.
Lou Ann believes everyone has the capacity to transform challenges and pain into healing and growth.
She listens without judgment and partners with clients to identify and achieve their goals, hopes, and dreams and move toward greater authenticity. Integrating the whole person into the therapy process with holistic practices, Lou Ann creates a space where clients feel safe, accepted, and heard.
Lou Ann received a BA in Psychology from the University of Tennessee and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adams State University. She is a Yoga Alliance-registered yoga instructor with 500 hours of teacher training, including 300 hours in trauma-sensitive yoga. She is
certified as a trauma support specialist and has extensive training in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy).
